Early influences

As a young girl a good friend

gave me this stack of posters.

They were early Vogue covers

painted by Helen Dryden.

I must have studied these

paintings for 6 years every day.

They had an enormous

influence on my work.

Shoe Story

This is one of my favorite pictures.
These shoes were all re-worked
from found shoes from various
thrift stores, they had light up laces
and sat on a lovely little vintage
child's desk.
